Char Crust - Amazin' Cajun. Dry-rub seasoning for all meat & fish. Broil, Bake, Grill. Get the secret! Used by the best chefs in many of the finest restaurants. My dad's legendary Chicago steakhouse - Al Farber's - is where it all started in 1957. Thick prime steaks with charred crusts, bursting with juicy flavor. When diners would literally beg to take home our seasonings that made their meat so good, we knew we had a winner. That time and those flavors are captured in our original Char Crust and Roto Roast rubs. Over the years I've added delicious new flavors to be used on all meats, fish, and even veggies. But we still make our rubs like my father Nathan did...in small batches with only the best herbs and spices. And of course, they all "Seal in the Juices!" Enjoy and eat well!
Spicy...Sweet...Seductive...just like Louisiana herself. Enjoy our jazzy blend of piquant Cayenne pepper, onion, garlic, oregano, and a melange of other Mardi Gras flavors. Bring the sublime heat of New Orleans to catfish, chicken, shrimp, and let yourself be seduced! This comes packaged and ready with easy & fast preparation instructions for all meat, fish & vegetables.
Recipe: Amazin' Cajun Wings Total time: Only 20 minutes! Lip-smackin' spicy! Great appetizer for a crowd and so much better than frozen or store-bought wings. They'll really notice the difference! Ingredients (for 6 to 8 servings): 30 chicken wings, 1/2 - 4oz. package Char Crust Amazin' Cajun, 1 cup blue cheese dressing, 6 stalks of celery (cut into sticks), 1 Tbsp. of Louisiana-style hot sauce, cooking oil & 1 clean paper grocery bag. Preheat broiler with broiler pan on the top rack (as close to heat as possible). Note: you can deep-fry the wings instead of broiling, if you prefer.
Spray or drizzle a little cooking oil on chicken wings. Pour the Char Crust into grocery bag; drop 4 or 5 wings into the bag. Close the top of the bag, and shake it to coat the wings. Then add 4 or 5 more wings & shake again. Remove the seasoned wings and set aside. Season the remaining wings in the same manner. Place the seasoned wings on broiler pan. Don't crowd them, but it is okay if they are touching a little bit. Spritz or drizzle them with a little more oil. Broil approximately 3 - 4 minutes on each side. Put wings into large bowl, drizzle with hot sauce, and use salad tongs to toss the wings. Serve promptly with celery sticks, blue cheese dressing, and lots of napkins!
No Fat Ingredients: processed wheat, Cayenne & Red Chile pepper, salt, garlic, onion, sugar, spices, celery, Worcestershire sauce powder, mustard, paprika, hydrolyzed soy & corn protein & natural smoke flavor.
